The success of pharmaceutical drug products is highly dependent on a robust Quality Management System. Drug products must be manufactured, packaged, stored and transported under tightly controlled conditions in order to ensure that they consistently comply with established quality, safety and efficacy standards. This can only be achieved by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which is the foundation of the Quality Management Systems.
