Dr. Tsai is the Director of the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory at MIT. She is a world-renowned expert in Alzheimer’s disease research and most notably in IPSC, with respect to neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Tsai is recognized as a world expert in Alzheimer’s disease. Her research has forged new frontiers in Alzheimer treatment. Dr. Tsai is a founder of MIT’s Aging Brain Initiative and her work has generated more than a dozen patents, many of which have been licensed by biomedical companies. She directs the Picower Institute for Learning & Memory and is the Picower Professor of Neuroscience at MIT.
